The aging process has a way of winnowing the scattershot fasciations of youth down to that which is lasting and of true value. These are the priorities of the heart that speak across generations and transcend personal benefit. Through the Wall of Reality takes us into domains where these priorities take center stage and teaches us how to access them as a spiritual discipline. The result is a life informed by love. This is a gorgeous book to be savored and treasured.

I very much enjoyed this nice segue from a Christian perspective to a larger overview...I had previously read books by Robert Monroe, the founder of the Monroe Institue where Rademacher now works, and could easily relate to Rademacher's quest for answers. Rademacher also explained a lot about christian theology and the misconceptions in it in his tale. I would guess it was difficult to write a book such as this that so honestly examines the writers own life, but it seems it has paid off for him, both in life and in literature.

I respect this man because he talks like you were good friends. Life as a pastor is difficult and was not for him. It would not be for me either. I like how he explains several verses in the Bible...it opened them up more for me. I was a christian for 30 years and since I left that constrictive box I see so much more and understand more about myself and how the universe really feels about all of us. I will re-read this book as time passes and be encouraged all over again

I enjoyed this book so much because it offers a very unusual biography. Such an honest depiction of spiritual longings, and the author's journey through such varied sanctuaries, makes this book a interesting read for a seeker. Personal experiences are fascinating in that way, especially when the writing is so compelling, which is the case here. I also enjoyed the bible references very much, as I was not familiar with them and I like to get to know personal perspectives while educating myself a bit. I highly recommend this book.
